AsynCluster:   Asynchronous Cluster Computing

The AsynCluster project ties computers together in an asynchronous cluster with a Node Display Manager? that allows regular workstation usage of cluster nodes with computing jobs running behind the scenes.

The asyncluster package includes a subpackage for running a master server and an ndm subpackage for running the Node Display Manager? on each cluster node. You can run several "coreworker" processes on multi-core PCs to keep each core busy.
